NEW YORK ART GALAS

All the celebrities have come out to play, pose and pay homage to causes of their choice—namely the arts.

Here’s some photos by Nadja Sayej showing everything you missed.

Kicking off the gala season was last week’s New Museum’s spring gala, which honored Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, where models lie Emily Ratajkowski dined alongside John Waters, Leelee Sobieski and art star Cindy Sherman.

On Tuesday, Alek Wek came out for the Aperture party where New York model-turned-photographer Ethan James Green launched his photo book Young New York, while Project Runway’s Karlie Kloss came out to support the Girls Club Spring Fling, which was hosted by Russian Doll star, Natasha Lyonne on Wednesday night. The dinner was held in a Lower East Side synagogue owned by Spanish artist Angel Orensanz and saw guests like celebrity stylist Patricia Field and quarterback player Colin Kaepernick.
